Nice jab at the government in the far right panel. I’m sure they’re all looking forward to the F-35 taking over for the vast majority of their varried aircraft (not).

I once bought 50 poster-sized Desert Storm/Shield infographics that showed the entire US force. They came out to $1 each and I planned to sell them for $3 at school. Coolest thing I had ever seen.

I sold 2.

That’s when I realized I was the biggest aviation/military nerd in middle school. Well, except for the two guys who bought them, maybe.

Haha, that’s hilarious.

Bear market for middle school military infographic sales.

When SHIELD became STORM, I think I was the only guy begging my parents to order me these shirts:

Remember these? Blackbird International was the company. They were AMAZING. Computer graphics, bro. Actually, they’re still awesome.

Interesting that they would use the silhouette of a MiG-15/17 for this graphic. Did the Iraqi Air Force use any of those at the time of Desert Storm?

Not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

I still see vendors selling shirts like these at Oshkosh every year.
